THE TEAM
As part of the Resort Executive Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the overall success and direction of Rosewood Miyakojima. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the resort while partnering closely with Executive Committee members and department leaders across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Culinary, Engineering, Security, Wellness, and Guest Relations. As the second-in-command of the property, you will help create a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability while ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and meaningful associate engagement across all areas of the resort.
YOUR ROLE
As Resort Manager, you will oversee the overall operational leadership and performance of Rosewood Miyakojima, including the Resort, Villas, Houses, Restaurants, and Asaya Wellness. Through strategic leadership and hands-on operational involvement, you will champion Rosewood’s philosophy of Relationship Hospitality while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and commercial success. You will work closely with the Managing Director and Executive Committee to drive business objectives, enhance profitability, uphold luxury service standards, develop future leaders, and foster an environment where associates thrive and guests create lasting memories.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
* Lead and oversee the daily operations of all resort departments, ensuring exceptional service delivery and adherence to Rosewood brand standards.
* Partner with Executive Committee members and department leaders to drive operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and financial performance across the property.
* Support the development and execution of the Annual Business Plan, Operating Budget, CAPEX Plan, and key strategic initiatives.
* Champion Rosewood’s Relationship Hospitality philosophy by creating personalized and memorable guest experiences at every touchpoint.
* Build strong relationships with guests, associates, corporate stakeholders, local partners, and the wider community to strengthen the resort’s reputation and market presence.
* Lead, coach, and develop department heads and leadership teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, engagement, and continuous improvement.
* Monitor operational and financial performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and service quality.
* Ensure compliance with all brand standards, local regulations, health and safety requirements, and risk management practices.
* Act on behalf of the Managing Director when required and provide visible leadership throughout the resort.
* Drive initiatives that enhance associate engagement, guest loyalty, operational effectiveness, and long-term commercial success.

* You possess strong business and financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, revenue optimization, and strategic planning.

* You are committed to continuous improvement, innovation, and driving sustainable business results.
* Previous experience in a senior hotel operations leadership role within a luxury resort environment is essential.
