What You Will Do
As a Director of Sales, you will:
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue and occupancy goals
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, group, leisure, and local market segments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, community partners, and key stakeholders
- Conduct sales calls, presentations, site tours, and networking activities
- Negotiate contracts and secure group, meeting, and event business
- Collaborate with revenue management and hotel leadership to maximize profitability
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses
- Manage and maintain client accounts to ensure long-term business relationships
- Represent the hotel and company at industry events, trade shows, and community functions

Preferred Qualifications
- At least 3 years of hotel sales, hospitality sales, or business development experience
- Previous Director of Sales, Sales Manager, or similar leadership experience preferred
- Experience with group sales, corporate accounts, and contract negotiations
- Knowledge of hotel revenue management principles and sales systems
- Experience using CRM and hotel sales software platforms
Physical Requirements – Essential Job Functions
This role requires candidates to:
- Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
- Travel locally as needed for client meetings, networking events, and sales activities
- Frequently use computers, phones, and other office equipment
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds of marketing materials and event supplies
- Maintain flexibility to attend evening, weekend, and community events as business needs require
