Featuring panoramic waterfront views, thoughtfully designed accommodations, inviting gathering spaces, and dining that extends from a casually elegant restaurant to a bayside deck, the Delta Virginia Beach offers an exceptional setting for both guests and associates.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proven hotel leader who understands how to balance exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, associate engagement, and owner expectations while positioning the hotel for continued success in the Virginia Beach market.
The Opportunity
As General Manager, you will serve as the strategic and operational leader of the hotel, with responsibility for all aspects of performance. Maintain a highly visible presence throughout the hotel, regularly engaging with guests and associates.
Ensure the property consistently meets or exceeds Marriott brand standards and Crescent expectations for quality, cleanliness, service, and operational performance.
Identify opportunities to continually enhance the guest experience and strengthen the hotel’s competitive position.
People & Culture
Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a talented executive and departmental leadership team.
Create an environment where associates feel valued, supported, challenged, and empowered to deliver their best.
Establish clear expectations and accountability while fostering collaboration across departments.
Partner with People & Culture leadership to support associate relations, performance management, development, and succession planning.
Commercial & Community Leadership
Partner closely with Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing, and Food & Beverage leadership to maximize hotel performance and identify new business opportunities.
Serve as an ambassador for the hotel and Crescent within the Virginia Beach community.
Develop relationships with key clients, community organizations, tourism partners, and local business leaders.
Maintain awareness of market conditions, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities that may impact the hotel’s performance.

Minimum 3 years of leadership experience within a full-service hotel environment.
Demonstrated success leading hotel operations and delivering strong financial, guest satisfaction, and associate engagement results.
Strong understanding of hotel financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, revenue strategy, and cost management.
Proven ability to develop high-performing leadership teams and create an engaging workplace culture.
Strong executive presence with excellent communication, relationship-building, and decision-making skills.
