We are seeking an experienced Director of Leisure Sales to join our pre-opening Commercial team.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role will lead the hotel's luxury leisure strategy across Luxury Consortia, Luxury Tour Operators, Luxury Concierge, Transient Leisure and High-End Travel Advisor markets, positioning Baccarat Rome as one of Europe's most desirable luxury destinations.

This is not an account management role.

We are looking for a commercially astute hunter—someone who thrives on opening doors, creating new business opportunities and building strategic partnerships that drive long-term revenue.

About the Role

As Director of Leisure Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing the hotel's luxury leisure sales strategy from pre-opening through to ongoing operations.

You will:

• Develop and execute the luxury leisure sales strategy for Baccarat Hotel Rome.
• Identify, target and secure new luxury leisure accounts globally.
• Negotiate and manage commercial agreements with luxury consortia and preferred partner programmes.
• Build strong relationships with luxury travel advisors, concierge networks and key leisure partners.
• Represent Baccarat Hotel Rome at luxury travel events, trade shows and international sales missions.
• Work closely with Revenue Management to maximise rate integrity, profitability and market positioning.
• Collaborate with Marketing and PR to drive awareness and strengthen brand positioning within the luxury travel community.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify commercial opportunities.
• Contribute to the successful launch of one of the world's most anticipated luxury hotels.

About You

You are recognised within the luxury travel industry as someone who builds relationships based on credibility, trust and results.

More importantly, you are commercially driven.

You understand that successful sales is about identifying opportunities before your competitors do, negotiating effectively and creating long-term partnerships that generate sustainable revenue.

You will ideally bring:

• Significant luxury hotel sales experience with a strong focus on leisure markets.
• An established network across Luxury Consortia, Luxury Travel Advisors, Luxury Concierge companies and key leisure partners.
• Demonstrated success in generating new business rather than simply managing existing accounts.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating contracts and preferred partner agreements.
• A strategic mindset supported by analytical thinking and commercial decision-making.
• Exceptional presentation, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working within Forbes Five-Star or internationally recognised luxury hospitality brands will be highly regarded.
• Previous pre-opening experience is advantageous but not essential.
