Position Summary
The General Manager (GM) in Training assists the senior restaurant leadership responsible for the overall performance and success of the restaurant. This exempt, non–tip-eligible role oversees all aspects of operations, including FOH and BOH leadership, financial performance, staffing, facilities management, and guest experience. The GM in Training directly assists the General Manager and Kitchen Manager, ensuring brand standards are upheld across service, quality, and hospitality. As the primary driver of business results, the GM in Training assists with inventory management, cost controls, staffing strategies, and maintaining an exceptional workplace culture. You will gain this expertise in these areas through direct, hands-on experience.

Reporting Structure
Reports to the Director of Operations. Directly assists Restaurant Leadership, along with all FOH and BOH staff through these roles.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring extended periods of standing, walking, and active engagement with staff and guests in a high-volume restaurant environment. Must be able to bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and manage the demands of multi-shift operations. Flexible scheduling including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
