Marketing Director Nouveau

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Director based in Spain.

This is a senior, full-remit marketing leadership role responsible for shaping brand, acquisition, distribution, partnerships, creators, content, community, and marketing technology.
You will define the marketing strategy and translate business priorities into clear plans, budgets, and measurable commercial outcomes.
The role sits at the intersection of crypto, Web3 culture, gaming, and digital entertainment, requiring genuine understanding of highly engaged online audiences.
You will bring multiple acquisition and distribution channels together into a scalable, performance-focused growth engine.
You will work closely with executive and cross-functional leaders while balancing long-term brand building with near-term revenue and acquisition objectives.
The position offers significant autonomy to experiment with emerging technologies, AI-enabled workflows, new channels, creators, and innovative approaches to audience growth.

Accountabilities

• Brand & Strategic Positioning: Define the overall marketing and brand strategy, translating executive direction into priorities, plans, budgets, and measurable outcomes while anticipating changes in market dynamics, category trends, audience behavior, and digital culture.
• Partnerships, Creators & Community: Lead ambassador programs, sponsorships, creator and influencer relationships, streamer/KOL networks, and community strategies across platforms such as Discord and Telegram, ensuring opportunities are scalable, relevant, compliant, and commercially accountable.
• Acquisition & Distribution: Build an integrated distribution engine across owned media, creators, affiliates, communities, social, SEO, content, paid acquisition, and other performance channels. Continuously evaluate channel economics to improve efficiency, scale, and return.
• Content & SEO: Lead content and SEO strategy to strengthen organic visibility across search, social platforms, and emerging AI/LLM discovery environments.
• Paid & Affiliate Growth: Oversee paid acquisition across social, biddable, programmatic, and other performance channels while developing a sustainable affiliate ecosystem with a strong focus on commercial performance and revenue-share economics.
• Marketing Technology, Data & AI: Own the marketing technology, attribution, analytics, automation, and reporting ecosystem, using data to evaluate acquisition performance and marketing ROI while introducing AI and emerging technologies that improve productivity, personalization, insight, and execution.
• Budget & Performance Management: Own the marketing budget, monitor investment and acquisition economics, and provide clear and regular reporting on performance, opportunities, risks, and priorities to executive leadership.
• Marketing Leadership: Provide senior direction across acquisition, partnerships, creators, community, content, affiliates, and marketing technology while supporting functional leaders, clarifying ownership, and building a high-performing multidisciplinary marketing organization.
• Marketing Operations & Compliance: Establish scalable processes, planning rhythms, delivery cadences, and performance standards while ensuring campaigns, partnerships, and promotional activities comply with applicable advertising and responsible-gambling requirements.
• Risk Management: Collaborate with AML & Fraud teams to identify and address fraud, bonus abuse, and other risks associated with acquisition channels and promotional activity.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Casino, Sportsbook, Predict, AML & Fraud, Legal, Finance, and executive stakeholders to translate broader business objectives into focused marketing initiatives and provide strategic input on launches, partnerships, brand initiatives, and major business projects.

Requirements

• Experience: 6+ years of marketing experience, including senior-level leadership responsibility; experience in crypto-native, iGaming, gaming, fintech, or digital entertainment environments is strongly preferred.
• Crypto & Web3 Expertise: Genuine fluency in crypto and Web3 culture, with a strong understanding of how crypto-native audiences engage, discover products, build communities, and transact online.
• Strategic Marketing: Proven ability to define and execute comprehensive marketing and brand strategies that generate measurable commercial growth.
• Growth & Acquisition: Strong experience across partnerships, sponsorships, creators/KOLs, affiliates, performance marketing, paid acquisition, content, SEO, and distribution strategy.
• Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of marketing budgets, acquisition economics, attribution, performance measurement, ROI, and sustainable growth models.
• Technology & AI: Strong working knowledge of modern marketing technology, analytics, automation, attribution systems, and AI-powered tools, with an ability to identify technologies that can improve marketing performance and efficiency.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to guide multidisciplinary marketing teams and senior functional leaders while establishing priorities, accountability, and a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
• Strategic & Operational Judgment: Ability to move comfortably between long-term strategic planning and hands-on commercial decision-making in a fast-changing environment.
• Communication: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate performance, opportunities, risks, and investment priorities.
• Industry Advantage: Experience building or scaling global brands within crypto, iGaming, gaming, fintech, or digital entertainment is advantageous.
• Creator & Community Ecosystems: Established knowledge of creator, streamer, affiliate, and KOL ecosystems, particularly within crypto or iGaming, is a plus.
• Community Growth: Experience developing community-led growth strategies across Discord, Telegram, or comparable platforms is desirable.
• Gaming Exposure: Experience with casino, sportsbook, prediction markets, or other real-money gaming products is beneficial.
• Affiliate Economics: Experience scaling revenue-share-led affiliate programs and evaluating complex acquisition economics is advantageous.
• Innovation Mindset: Strong interest in emerging AI technologies, crypto culture, gaming, and the future of digital entertainment, combined with curiosity and a willingness to experiment.
