Job Description
We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality atFairmontJasper Park Lodge,asour new General Manager, Outlets.Creating anengaging work environment for colleaguesofFairmont Jasper Park Lodge is as important as turning moments into memories for our guests.
As a General Manager, Outlets youwill provide vision and leadership that fosters an engaged team and ensures quality,efficiencyand superior service. This position willbe responsible forthe effective and efficientday to dayoperation of a fast pacedpremier dining establishment.
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Food & Beverage,responsibilitiesand essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional,friendlyand engaging service
- Responsible for the service excellence and efficient day to day operation
- Oversee the recruitment, mentorship and development of department leaders, and employees
- Actively coach all employees to ensure that superior guest service is the primary focus
- Participate in monthly forecasting and month end commentary
- Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Food & Beverage or Hotel Management
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Minimum five years of senior experience in Food & Beverage Management
- Strong beverage, culinary and wine knowledgerequired
- Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Windows programs
- Minimum of one year experience in ahigh volumebar setting, preferably in a full service four or five diamond property is a strong asset but notrequired
- Experience with Silverware is preferred
- Post-secondary degree in Hospitality or Food and Beverage Management an asset
Visa Requirements:Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable toassistcandidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
