Regional Director of Operations – Multi-Unit Hotel Operations | Gulf Shores, AL
8–12 Hotels. Two Gulf Coast States. One Leader.
Ready to lead a growing Gulf Coast portfolio, including a brand-new hotel opening?
A&R Hospitality is hiring a Regional Director of Operations based in Gulf Shores, Alabama to lead 8–12 Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Hyatt hotels, including Courtyard, Fairfield, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites, and Hyatt Studios.
Most of your portfolio is in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Foley, one of the busiest beach markets in the Southeast and a short drive from home base. You'll also lead our growing Southwest Florida presence, including the Holiday Inn Express in Nokomis and the new Hyatt Studios in Venice, opening in 2027.
Unlike many regional roles, you won't live out of a suitcase. You'll spend most of your days in your own hotels, building leaders and driving results.
Why This Role Is Different
You've proven you can run a great hotel. Now you'll multiply that success across a multi-brand portfolio and help shape where it grows next.
As RDO, you're the leader behind the General Managers. You'll coach them, challenge them, and help them win, from the spring break rush through the summer peak and into the off-season. When a hotel struggles, you're the one who turns it around. When it's thriving, you make sure the team that built it gets the credit.
You'll report directly to the President of Hospitality, with real visibility, real decision-making authority, and a real voice in how A&R runs and grows its hotels. Your results will be easy to see.
