Vice President Operations – Premium, Economy & Midscale Brands, Türkiye Nouveau

Based in the Accor Türkiye Office in Istanbul, the Vice President of Operations, Türkiye will support the Senior Vice President of Operations, MEA, in leading and unlocking the full potential of Accor’s PME hotel portfolio in Türkiye.

The role is responsible for driving the portfolio’s financial, operational and ESG performance while ensuring strong compliance, governance and adherence to Accor standards. The position will work closely with General Managers, hotel owners and multiple corporate and regional supporting functions to provide strategic direction, operational guidance and performance support to managed and franchised hotels across Türkiye.

Key Responsibilities

Performance & Operational Excellence

• Monitor and drive hotel performance across key business metrics, including GOP, RGI and RPS versus budget and business plans.
• Identify systemic opportunities, performance gaps and risks across the portfolio and implement targeted action plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Drive operational excellence, business performance and adherence to Accor brand standards across the hotel portfolio.

Strategic Execution & Governance

• Partner with the SVP Operations, MEA, to translate regional and global priorities into effective country-level operational strategies and actions.
• Lead and support strategic initiatives related to Brand Standards, Service Culture, Heartist® Culture, Accor’s Purpose, ESG and DEI priorities.
• Ensure strong governance, compliance and ethical standards across the portfolio.

Business Planning & Performance Reviews

• Lead the planning and execution of structured hotel business reviews, ensuring clear analysis of performance, identification of opportunities and risks, accountability and effective follow-through.
• Provide senior-level insights and recommendations to support business decisions and portfolio performance.

Hotel Openings & Project Management

• Oversee operational readiness and critical paths for new hotel openings and major operational projects.
• Identify key risks, establish mitigation plans and coordinate closely with General Managers and internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure successful delivery of hotel openings and projects on time, on brand and on budget.

Operational Audits & Field Engagement

• Plan and conduct annual operational visits across the hotel portfolio.
• Ensure comprehensive and well-documented operational assessments, with clear action plans and follow-up.
• Maintain strong field engagement with hotel teams and ensure continuous improvement in operational standards and performance.

Owner Relations

• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with hotel owners and key stakeholders.
• Conduct at least one in-person business review with each owner annually.
• Ensure key discussions, decisions and agreed actions are documented and followed up through the appropriate Accor platforms, including WeMax.
• Act as a trusted business partner to owners, balancing commercial objectives with Accor’s operational and brand priorities.

Leadership & Talent Management

• Lead performance management and development of General Managers across the portfolio.
• Coach and challenge GMs to deliver strong business results while fostering a high-performance and Heartist® culture.
• Strengthen leadership capabilities and promote localization at both leadership and Heartist levels.

Communication & Alignment

• Facilitate the monthly VPO call with General Managers by developing and delivering structured, high-impact presentations.
• Ensure alignment across the portfolio on business priorities, performance, strategic initiatives and key operational topics.
• Maintain regular communication with the SVP Operations, DRO and relevant regional stakeholders through structured and ad hoc meetings.

• Proven experience as a Hotel Operations Leader / General Manager, with a strong track record in hotel performance management and strategic planning.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, commercial performance and financial management, with the ability to translate business data into actionable strategies.
• Demonstrated experience in driving business performance, operational excellence and business development.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities, with a data-driven and solution-oriented approach.
• Strong Executive Leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence and inspire senior stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong Impact & Influence capabilities, with the ability to challenge constructively and drive accountability.
• Strong understanding of governance, compliance, ethical standards and risk management.
• Experience working in an international, multi-brand or multi-property hospitality environment is highly desirable.
• Fluency in Turkish and English is required; proficiency in German is considered an asset.

This is a senior country-level leadership position with significant influence over Accor’s PME hotel portfolio in Türkiye. The successful candidate will work in a highly collaborative, international environment and will be expected to demonstrate a strong balance of strategic leadership, commercial acumen, operational excellence and people leadership.

The role requires a high level of mobility and regular engagement with hotels, General Managers, owners and key stakeholders across Türkiye.
