Executive Director, Revenue Management and Optimization Nouveau

Coming soon to the Las Vegas Strip, Hard Rock Las Vegas will be a fully integrated luxury resort offering world-class hospitality, gaming, dining, entertainment and retail. Positioned on the 50-yard line of the Strip, the resort will feature a nearly 700 ft. guitar-shaped hotel that will change the Las Vegas skyline. The finished complex will feature over 3,700 hotel rooms, approximately 175,000 square feet of gaming space, two spas, multiple pools, live entertainment venues and dozens of restaurants, lounges and retail outlets.

The Executive Director of Revenue Management and Optimization at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas is a senior revenue leader responsible for the strategic development and execution of property revenue optimization initiatives with a main focus on hotel revenues with secondary influence on casino, food & beverage, entertainment, and other non-gaming pricing strategies. This role focuses on maximizing profitability through disciplined pricing, demand forecasting, distribution strategy, and performance analysis.

Reporting to the VP, Revenue Management and Optimization, the Executive Director of Revenue Management and optimization serves as a key strategic partner to executive leadership and cross‑functional teams, driving optimal occupancy, rate, and revenue performance across all hotel segments while ensuring alignment with brand strategy and operational objectives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support and assist the VP of Revenue Management with department strategic initiatives.

• Develop, implement, and measure the revenue management strategic plan aligned with annual business objectives.

• Establish day-to-day optimal pricing, inventory, and business mix strategies based on market conditions and demand patterns.

• Build, manage, and optimize distribution channels including direct, wholesale, OTA, and tour operator segments.

• Align with casino executives on direct marketing initiatives (offers, events, etc.) by tier/rank to drive casino room nights goals and associated gaming contribution. This includes casino criteria evaluation connected with rooms/suites assets.

• Prepare and present the annual hotel rooms revenue budget for review.

• Support the daily Sales business review (BR) process.

• Produce and analyze statistical reports to identify trends, forecast demand, and support timely rate decisions. Continuous review of daily actuals vs expected results to ensure improvement in the process.

• Monitor competitive sets, pricing strategies, seasonality, and market share performance and adjust accordingly.

• Drive forecasting accuracy targets by coaching leaders to achieve revenue forecasts within defined variance thresholds.

• Identify revenue risks and opportunities proactively to positively influence financial outcomes.

• Continuously improve total revenue management practices across rooms and ancillary revenue streams.

• Support development of annual property business plans and marketing strategies.

• Represent the property through sales calls, trade shows, and industry events as required.

• Partner closely with Customer Care, Marketing, Casino and Hotel Operations, IT, Accounting, and other stakeholders to align strategies.

• Lead testing, planning, and deployment of revenue‑related IT systems and integrations.

• Analyze data across hotel, gaming, food and beverage, and ancillary operations to support enterprise‑level decisions.

• Provide leadership through coaching, training, performance management, and team development initiatives.

• Influence broader Customer Care initiatives through indirect leadership and cross‑functional collaboration.

• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and data‑driven decision making.

• Monitor industry trends and emerging practices to maintain competitive advantage.

• Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations, departmental policies, and ethical standards.

• Support responsible gaming and alcohol service initiatives by reporting concerns appropriately.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with ten or more years of experience in strategic or revenue analysis leadership, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Progressive leadership experience in hotel, resort, or casino revenue management required.

• Prior experience supporting hotel or casino openings or expansions preferred.

• Previous supervisory experience in a complex hospitality environment preferred.

• Expert knowledge of total revenue management concepts, systems, and forecasting methodologies.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

• Strong working knowledge of systems such as LMS, RMS, CRS, SQL, Tableau and ResNET or comparable platforms.

• Experience leading large, complex IT or systems implementations preferred.

• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in non‑standard or ambiguous situations.

Work Environment:

• Physical demands include standing, walking, and noise exposure for extended periods

• Position requires occasional lifting and moving of items weighing up to 50 pounds

• May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including secondhand smoke.

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
