Director of Technology Risk Management – Tangspac

Working for a large global Financial institution as Head of Technology Risk, you will be responsible for managing the team to develop, and implement strategies, programs to manage and ensure risk and compliance obligations. You will also ensure sound, robust IT security and IT controls across different geography.

Roles :

1. Take the lead on managing Technology Risk and provide guidance for its continued development.
2. Support the global technology risk reporting framework and execution across tech risk reporting, risk appetite reporting, and development of dashboards.
3. Provide the Group CIO with a comprehensive view of enterprise technology risk profile Conduct detailed risk assessments, maintain a risk register, identify potential risk treatments, and coordinate and monitor implementation plans.
4. Work closely with senior business stakeholders in Technology, offering risk guidance and advice helping them to embed risk management in their team and to navigate Governance structures effectively.
5. Review and provide feedback on Technology Policies, Frameworks and standards, risk appetite statements and metrics, technology and cyber strategies and technology RFPs as required.
6. Work with the relevant areas to review their functions and identify their risks and controls and recommend risk management and improvement opportunities.
7. Develop and maintain the IT Risk Management Tool across the entire functions and work with management to identify, document, track and resolve issues. Identification, evaluation, and testing of IT key controls by conducting process walkthroughs, gathering evidence, interpreting data and documenting test plans and results.

Requirements

1. Tertiary qualifications and/or 15+ years experience and management expertise in the one or more of the following fields: IT, Technology Risk, IT governance, IT Security, IT audit, assurance.
2. Knowledge of IT governance standards frameworks and approaches, including understanding of IT risk and control environments (risk and control identification, assessment, tracking and remediation) with proven experience with operational and compliance risks in a technical environment.
3. A sound understanding of risks covering networks, platform, applications , ITSM, IT Processes, control, and standards
4. Experience working with MAS TRM is a big plus
5. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to liaise professionally with multiple stakeholders.
6. Demonstrated high level conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and evaluate the impact of strategic technology issues on organisational operations and initiate appropriate responses and recommendations.
