Hotel Director

This time we are Room Mate Luca & Isabella, two hotels in the center of Florence. Do you want to discover it? What are we looking for? A Hotel Director What would you do with us? The Hotel Director will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a hotel and its staff. He will also be commercially accountable for budgeting and financial management and will need to plan, organise and direct all hotel services, including front-of-house (reception, concierge, and reservations), food and beverage operations and housekeeping.
– Implement the quality and service standards defined by the chain.
– Ambassador of values and philosophy.
– Lead the hotel team.
– Communicate with the various departments of the chain's central offices, in particular with the revenue department.
– Public relations for hotel customers.
– Management and continuous training of staff.
– Prepare and lead meetings with department heads of the hotel.
– Prepare and lead meetings with all hotel staff.
– Evaluate and supervise customer satisfaction levels.
– Handling complaints and managing the hotel's reputation.
– Guarantee the indicated hotel standards.
– Ensure the implementation of the indicated chain procedures.
– Economic management: budgets, cost breakdowns, personnel costs, etc.
– Approval of all purchasing requests.
– Covering Director on Duty (DoD) duties on designated weekends by the company
– Conducting commercial visits locally.
– Ensuring the smooth daily operation of the hotel by coordinating all departments.
– Maximizing profit and controlling deviations.
– Decision-making and problem-solving ability.
– Budgeting and reporting processes. What are we looking for?

– You are proactive and goal oriented.
– You are an organized person and detail oriented.
– Previous experience as Hotel Director or other hotel management positions.
– Skills: SAP, Opera PMS, Micros, Excel.
– Italian market knowledge.
– Team management.
– Knowledge of all the departments that structure the hotel.
– Great leadership and communication skills.
– Italian is mandatory, Spanish will be a plus.
